That’s right it’s time for another night of Ladies Love Hip Hop hosted by Monie Love & DJ Ultraviolet. Wish I could be there to wish DJ UV a personal happy birthday - swing by and send her my love! Oh, and eat a cheesesteak for me.
The issue of model’s weight and body image have long plagued the fashion industry, though nothing has really been done about it. A few months back during the Spring ‘07 Shows, Spain’s top fashion show led the way in saying "enough is enough" by rejecting certain models as being "too skinny." It seems this was a spark for a new trend. Now, "Italy is looking for international consensus on its plan to issue licenses to fashion models who meet an age and health standard." I think it’s great that the fashion industry is recognizing the impact that it can have on womens’ body images and I look forward to the day when models look more like women and less like skeletons.

The Mama New Era Caps are finally here! It’s been a long time coming - gone are the days of ladies having to wear giant hats. The Ladies 5950 is here and Mama is the first ladies streetwear company to get together with New Era to produce fly hats for the ladies.
First up there’s the "Lolita" - ladies, you’ll definitely be starting trouble in this one. It’s covered in black lace with fuchsia and white embroidered accents. The lining features our kisses camo print and there’s an embroidered heart under the brim. Sorry fellas, but "Always a Lady" is embroidered on the side . . . you guys have lots of hats to choose from - these are for the ladies!!
Second up, there’s the "Coco" - inspired by Mlle. Chanel. The hat is made of black velvet, has a pearl button top, and has gold and white embroidered accents. The lining features our Coco print in gold foil. And of course, "Always a Lady" is embroidered on the side.

Check out this new Louis Vuitton Sophie, kinda like a remix of the Pochette Accessories don’t you think? The Sophie measures approximately 10×5 and of course we’re always the latest to the new stuff. Japan already has this available but for the rest of the world, February 2007 and the price is about $425. Its a great gift for the holidays, too bad its not yet available.
