These days in the fashion game it’s all about collabos. From the streetwear industry ( Mama X New ERA ) to the women’s ready-to-wear industry. In my opinion, collaborations between designers, artists, musicians, and companies are a win-win situation if done right. Remember when LeSportsac got with Gwen Stefani to do L.A.M.B .???

You may have heard about Homeroom Hoodies making some noise in the men’s streetwear scene. If not, Homeroom is a line out of SF that makes hand tailored hoodies and people like Kanye and Lupe are fans. Well, now there’s some Homeroom goodies for the ladies! The hoodies are great quality, insulated and very warm, fully reversible and full zip! It’s like having 15 outfits with one hoodie - it’s the future. The Reed Space in NY just got a shipment so cop ‘em fast. All their productions are super limited and handmade and need to be picked up on quick. So what are you still doing reading?? Go get yours!!

So many stores…so little time! Check out Complex Magazine’s website for their list of top 27 stores in the US. Leading the pack is the Apple Store in NYC; after all it is open for your shopping convenience 24/7! All the stores listed are extremely influential in the areas of architecture, design, art, and fashion. Some of my personal fav’s are Opening Ceremony , Fruition , and of course San Francisco’s own HUF . Get in the know about the "who’s who" in the retail game!

Head over to Alife Rivington Club if you can…hopefully they’ll have some smaller size kicks or ladies styles available at crazy prices!! Or maybe something for your man…better yet have your man take you and buy something for the both or you…you deserve it!!

I know I’ve had enough of winter and I’m more than ready to move onto spring.  Lucky for us, Shopbop.com just received new spring pieces from the Charlotte Ronson line including knit dresses, tunics, vests and shorts.  They’re super cute and Charlotte Ronson always mangages to make things look sweet without making them too sugary.  Peep the pieces get your head start on spring here.

So, this isn’t your typical “what’s cool in the streetwear scene post” or check out this “hot party action” or even a update of the latest and greatest artist, new toys or cool gal gadgets. The official line-up for the Coachella 2007 music festival was announced on Tuesday. Headliners included BJORK, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. I’ve never been to Coachella but if I finally decided to take the jounrey down to HOT Indio, CA it would definitely be this year. In one day you can go from listening to Arcade Fire to Ghost Face Killah!!! Check out the line up for yourselves. Tickets go on sale this Saturday!
