While shopping in Paris I stumbled upon a boutique called Noir Kennedy that I had to go into because it was so unique and different from all the other shops that I had seen. Punk is certainly not dead, in fact it’s thriving at Noir Kennedy. From the music to the rats hanging from the ceiling, this shop is a punk/rock/goth paradise. There’s definitely something for everyone but some of the brands they carry are Merc, Harrington, Keednim and Cheap Monday. They also have an amazing selection of vintage including rock tees, dresses, tops, shoes and other accessories.

You may have noticed that the Coco Mademoiselle campaign that once featured a young Kate Moss has been recently revamped with the beautiful Keira Knightley as the new face of the fragrance. Based off of the success of the Nicole Kidman Chanel No. 5 film, Chanel has created another film for the Coco Mademoiselle perfume - all filmed in Coco Chanel’s Paris apartment at 31 Rue Cambon. You can view the film and get an inside look into the infamous apartment here.

With this much anticipation and secrecy being placed on Roberto Cavalli’s capsule collection for H&M, the sneak previews that having been popping up practically every week are stating to get a little annoying , which is why I’ve hesitated to post any images, but these sketches courtesy of French Vogue are too lovely not to share. The outwear pieces look gorgeous and will probably be what I spend most of my money on, but it would be silly not to invest in at least one of Cavalli’s signature animal print garments. The collection, with 20 men’s and 25 ladies’ pieces including underwear and matching accessories, is all about Roberto Cavalli’s expressive and sensual signature style.
The Roberto Cavalli for H&M collection will be available in around 200 selected H&M stores worldwide starting November 8, 2007.
