The Apple 3G is out today!  Are you getting one?  I don’t think I can be down with this phone until it’s nail/fake nail friendly.  I can’t use the touch screen any other way!  What do you guys think???

I tried using a bluetooth headset a few years back and gave up after about 3 tries. It was a big deal to get me to walk around with something on my head that made me look like an alien maniac - trust me. But, to have it not work really well and feel like I couldn’t hear anything was just too much. It got tossed into the pile of stuff never to be used again. A few weeks ago I came across Jawbone and said Halleluja! Someone has heard my prayers for a nice, sleek looking bluetooth headset. One that is more like jewelry, since after all, it’s on your face! I personally was hoping something a bit more bamboo inspired so I could coordinate my bluetooth with my earrings but this is close enough.

The design of the new Jawbone is unparalleled in its sleek simplicity. The headset comes in gold, black or silver finish with optional fine leather earloops. Not only do they look good, but they have a feature called “noise assassin” that picks up your voice and kills all the other annoying sounds in the background. I love “organization” I have several notebooks, a giant desk calendar, a laptop, a desktop and a smart phone to help me keep life and work in order. Sadly, I’m still not as organized as I’d like to be. Scheduled events and contacts don’t make their way into the phone or calendar or get jotted down in a hurry in the wrong notebook. What to do? Apple is introducing a product called Mobile Me that will make these problems a thing of the past!

Mobile Me is “[a] new service for your iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, and PC . . . . [that] pushes your email, contacts, and calendar events to your iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, and PC.” It works like this: Email, contacts and calendar information are stored on a “cloud” - make an update on one device, and the cloud updates all of your devices. No more docking or syncing! This is the future! The service includes an “ad-free suite of web applications” that are accessible anywhere and a great way to share photos or large files. The “cloud” is a rather big one with a hefty 20gb of storage. Mobile Me will be available soon and you can sign up here to be notified when it launches. Infectious is a new company that sells car art for you to customize your whip. You can get anything from small icons, to hood pieces, door pieces or the big shebang “Full Kits” which include door pieces and hood pieces. If you love art, and want a new way to show it or be a collector, this is a great new way to express your love. The decals are meant to last up to 2 years, won’t damage your paint and are easy to remove. The artist line-up is great and includes some M.I.S.S. Crew favorites like Buff Monster, Junko Mizuno, Cycle and Dalek. With prices ranging from about $35 to $389 - there’s something for every budget - and it’s much less expensive than a new paint job! I think this is a great concept and if you’re tired of wearing your art on your t-shirt, you can wear it on your car now.

Father’s Day is this Sunday and if you’ve been busy like us, then you probably haven’t gotten dad a gift yet. Each day this week we’ll be spotlighting some products that we think most baby daddy’s would like. Today we’re featuring techy gadgets - what guy doesn’t want the hottest newest toys to play with?

For the tech lover that wants the newest and latest there’s the Apple iPhone 3G. The music lover can get an iPod Nano, or if they want something smaller you can opt for the iPod Shuffle. There’s no better way to listen to music than with Bose Noise Cancelling headphones. And for the young at heart who still play video games there’s the Sony Playstation 3 with Grand Theft Auto IV and Nintendo Wii with the ever-popular Rock Band.

A girl’s gotta get around, right? If I was a rich girl, I’d have a different car for each day of the week and a bicycle for leisurely rides. What could be better than a Chanel bike? Luxury at its very best. As far as the cars go, I love sporty cars, especially old ones, so I’d have to have a Corvette roadster. The Mercedes G Wagon would be great for long trips or when you’ve got some friends along for the ride. The collection wouldn’t be complete without a convertible - the Alfa Romeo spider - my favorite of all the “topless” cars. These are just a few of my favorites but I could see myself driving each of these - sunglasses on and long scarf blowing in the wind . . .

Dior just announced that they are releasing a Diorphone this June.  The Diorphone will be as “couture” as they come, and the pattern on the phone is the same pattern used on some of their handbags.  Dior created “its first technological product from scratch, including a miniature “twin” of the phone that a woman can clip to her purse or wear on a pendant, eliminating the need to dig through a handbag to answer a call.”  The mini-phone works as a bluetooth and also boasts a “mirrored display screen that can double as a compact.”  The phones also feature custom Dior icons for navigation on its high definition screen such as: “a Lady Dior handbag for tools; an oval-shaped mirror for images. All the software, built-in videos and imagery are exclusive to Dior.”  Dior expects to sell between 30,000 and 60,000 phones over the course of the next year.  With a $5000+ price tag, I’m really curious to know who’s going to buy those phones!  The Diorphone will be distributed in 225 Dior boutiques and 300 watch/jewelry specialty retailers around the world.  If the Diorphone is not “couture” enough for you, there’s also a “deluxe model studded with 640 diamonds, which comes with an alligator sheath, runs up to 18,000 euros, or $27,000.”
