Armour Beauty is the brainchild of Rocker and Model, Theo Kogan and Celebrity Make-Up Artist turned Handbag Designer, Allison Burns. These 2 talented ladies teamed up to create Armour Beauty, “because beauty is your armour.” The ladies create environmentally friendly lip glosses that are not only healing but also gorgeous to wear. Some of the sumptuous ingredients include avocado butter, mango seed butter, mango oil, avocado oil, grape seed oil, shea butter and vitamin E.
Theo and Allison take their love of music and pop culture and name their glosses after their favorite Rock songs, Clubs and legendary icons. The lip glosses are available in Opaque and Shimmer varieties, but my favorite by far is the black opaque lip gloss called Femme Fatale (pictured below left). Check out more colors after the jump. The lip glosses can be purchased online.

I love eyeliner. Love it with a capital L-O-V-E. And I’ve always loved that vintage 60’s Twiggy look, also rocked by Amy Winehouse, Lilly Allen and my beloved Estelle. Whilst i find dear Wino’s a little too dramatic, i too love mine thick and in ya face!
A while back M.I.S.S. Dree wrote about the wonder that is blue mascara. If you like experimenting with color, then you’ll love the new mascara colors offered by Urban Decay. With colors like Purple Haze, Indigo, Electric Blue and Black Cherry - these mascaras will add a ‘lil drama to any look. And, for the next week if you spend $30 or more you’ll get the XXX Shine Stash lip gloss set for free (it’s a $25 value!). Just add the word STASH at checkout. Details after the jump . . .

Stila has done the makeup for the past 4 Marchesa runway shoes and it looks like the relationship is blooming. Based on the success of the color palettes, Stila is releasing the colors used in the Fall 2008 Marchesa runway show. Here’s what they have to say:
The Backstage Beauty Collection, which includes three palettes, each with one matte and two shimmery eye shadow shades and an eyeliner. The Front Row Look is a black-patent palette with a smoky quartz eyeliner; The Red Carpet Look is a red-patent palette with an onyx eyeliner, and The Runway Look is a pewter-patent palette with an onyx eyeliner. Each palette is finished with fake leather rosettes that can be reused as necklaces or bracelets.
The colors look really fresh and wearable but my favorite part is the packaging. I love Marchesa dresses for the beautifully folded flowers and the flower wrap for the case is the perfect finishing touch - especially when you can use it as a necklace, bracelet or hair accessory! The palettes will be available in August at Sephora stores, Sephora.com and StilaCosmetics.com and will retail for $40.

Wear it alone, or layer over lipstick or Lipglass for a dramatic effect. The dazzleglass is available in 16 colors, from blue comet to ms. fizz, there’s a color for every mood and shade. Each Dazzleglass lipcolour retails for $16.50 US and for a limited time, if you use the code DAZZLE at checkout you will receive free standard shipping on your online order.
Chanel has just announced that Gold is a central theme of it’s Fall 08 and Holiday 08 cosmetics collections. These are the first makeup collections by Peter Philips, the new creative director of makeup at Chanel. For his first collection, he took inspiration from Coco Chanel’s personal apartment on Rue Cambon which he found very warm with rich colors surrounding him like earthy browns, gold-gilded frames and crystal chandeliers. The collection includes a gold nail polish called Gold Fiction and Kaléidoscope (a shiny green gold) for fall and a gold brown nail polish called Haute Chocolate for holiday. Will these colors become the next it colors like Vamp, Black Satin and Blue Satin? I guess only time will tell. The collection also includes gold lip gloss, gold highlighting powder and a black eyeliner with gold sparkle. I think the colors will be popular and they are very seasonal since Fall usually favors rich color and Holiday always has a little bit of glitz for all the holiday festivities. The Fall collection will be available in stores beginning in July and the Holiday collection in October.

Where could I even start? From the moment you step a foot into Henri Bendel at 5thavenue in New York , your eyes don’t know where to go. You are amazed by the colorful displays, Fafinettes girls dancing and smiling all around you. However, when you think it doesn’t get any better you are actually in the presence of the one and only Fafi…Incase you don’t know her, she is an amazing Parisian Graffiti artist who is known for her many sexy/flirty Fafinettes cartoons characters painted on walls through the streets of Paris and other cities. Not to mention her other collaborations with Adidas, and Lesportsac in early 2007.The event was for the release of the collaborations between MAC Cosmetics* FAFI. This was just an excuse to go pamper yourself by getting your make up done, and who said there is anything wrong with that? Not meee!!!
