Just a note to let you know that Liz and I are in Vegas to cover the trade shows so we can give you sneak peaks of all the hottest women’s product. That said, since we’re running around, posts may be slow for the next day or two, but hang tight there will be much, much more to come!
And the final report from Las Vegas. The last day of the trade show circuit took me to Project. I had only an hour to run around but had a chance to check in with She-Bible and Hellz-Bellz. See what’s what after the jump! (more…)
Last week in Vegas I got to catch up with some lovely ladies who had their nails did. Here’s a glimpse of my favorites. Sorry some of them are blurry - everything was happening so fast and I didn’t have time to change lenses!

I wish I could bring each and everyone one of you with us on this tradeshow journey. I would hope that you could walk for a moment in our shoes and feel the pain and exhaustion of the week, so you could then undertstand why these posts have taken a day or two and you would then put aside your thoughts of me being a slacker…please forgive me, our faithful reader…Yeah, so Magic the tradeshow. This is the big mama of all tradwshows. All other tradwshows are off-shoots, grandbabies if you will. Well within Magic is a “million” more catagories. Today we visit “Streetwear” and within streetwaear is “Street Culture”…blah, blah, blah. Keep on reading to see what’s new this Spring from Dime Piece, La Femme GNS, Mama and much more!!
The Pool show has grown a little in size, which explains why the United show has become smaller…Many of the brands that exhibited at United last fall have found their way to Pool. I have to say, their hasn’t been much out their that’s stood out as new and exciting…So, I visited some of our favorite brands and managed a couple of new things…
Oh, how we love 31 Corn Lane!!! They have recently introduced a new “luxury” jewelery line named, Tipton & Downing. Such a rich and regal name, right? But just in case you don’t get the reference, Tipton and Downing are the last names of the two guitar players in Judas Priest….sooooooooo good! This line of lux jewels come in gold and silver tones, retail at $50 to $75 and include names like “Love Measured in Carrots” and “Little Stinker”.
Yesterday marked “Day 1″ of tradeshow madness here in Las Vegas. I made my first stop by the United Tradeshow which has downsized from 3 large rooms of exhibitors to one room. It was quit shocking to see such a small gathering of brands. Here are some of the stand-outs from the show.
Not new to the scene but continuing to hold her own, is Kylee of Miss Wax jewelry. Her latest and greatest is a collab with graff writer Retna of the legendary Seventh Letter Crew. At $70 retail for either the necklace or the earrings, you’ll want to add these to your collection.
WRG? Magazine sat down with over twenty people who had brands & hustles at the last Magic show to talk about the Las Vegas experience and Las Vegas do’s & don’ts. It’s very entertaining and gives you a glimpse of what Magic is all about. And of course, your M.I.S.S Crew founders are in it . . .
Awwwww, Yeah. M.I.S.S. Crew in full effect! We just got in our neon M.I.S.S. Crew nail files. If you’re in Vegas next week come find us to get your neon files. You can definitely get some at Glossin’ . . . ..” alt=”glossin flyer las vegas” />
