I will not scuff my shoes. I will not scuff my shoes. Nobody likes scuffed kicks, especially your new Back to School kicks! It’s been some years since us ladies here at M.I.S.S. have done some B2S shopping but we certainly understand the importance of looking sharp on your first day back! Keeping the kit tight goes from head to toe and everything in between . . . umhmmm, nails did! With this mani we put all your B2S supplies at your finger tips . . . yes, pun totally intended. “With an apple for my teacher ’cause I knew I’d get a kiss…”
*Song Lyrics from The Pharcyde “Passin Me By”

NEWS FLASH! The International Council of Style and Trend Forecasting (ICSTF) has just released a MAJOR trend for A/W 2008. The Council has reported that this Fall (and EVERY Fall Season for infinity and beyond), Animal prints will play a major influence. Eeeeeeeee!!!!!! We are shocked and so excited that we finally have a Fall season in which we can rock our animal prints without being laughed at for thinking so far out of the box. THANK-YOU!
Yes, this is a bit of a mockery. We get a good laugh at how every Fall season, animal print is treated like it’s the next big thing. Really, when isn’t it hot? Who doesn’t love some animal print all year around? Shooooooot. We here at M.I.S.S. love us some animal print, we even like to rock them all at once sometimes, hell, why not? A little or a lot what’s not to love. . . those critters in the jungle were on to something long before the concept of fashion existed. Just know that you really can’t go wrong with a little “animal” in your wardrobe (snake, leopard, zebra . . . ). Now, how you rock it is another story and includes a consulting fee, that can be discussed if needed . . . get at us.

I know, I know MAGIC was 2 weeks ago but I just unpacked so leave me alone. One of the best parts of going to the show is the free stuff. We got so much great stuff and it’s always cool to see what new promo item companies come up with. This past show had a clear winner. The best promo of MAGIC this year goes to 10 Deep. Their promo was so well thought out and perfect for Vegas. It consisted of a black bag (that you could use as a laptop bag), a t-shirt and a “MAGIC survival kit” which included a lighter (to “wake and bake”), gum to keep your breathe fresh (speak freely), a toothbrush, sunglasses and a condom - all things that most people use at some point or another in Vegas.

Check out the other great stuff after the jump . . .

Last week in Vegas I got to catch up with some lovely ladies who had their nails did. Here’s a glimpse of my favorites. Sorry some of them are blurry - everything was happening so fast and I didn’t have time to change lenses!
Syliva from Kudu with the neon highlighter nails

Digit from La Femme GNS with the blue 3d nails

Check them all out after the jump . . .

Karmaloop recently caught up with ya girl Kid Sister, where she willingly admits her love for being a ham and how she likes her peanut butter AND jelly separate!
Growing up with a musical background, Kid Sis enjoyed musical theatre throughout high school and college. I guess being a big nerd paid off!! Congrats on your success!
Check the video.

I’m loving how Nails Did just keeps it coming!! And up next to roll out is the “Mind It” collabo with P’s & Q’s…a little something Frames put together for Queens in Hawaii, that awesome crew handling his U.S. distribution.
