M.I.S.S. Crew and Sneaker Freaker’s very own M.A.F.I.A. has just released a mixtape called “Celeb Life on the DJ List.” The set includes everything from M.I.A., KRS One, ODB, Pharoah Monch and NKOTB. Yes, the NKOTB. M.A.F.I.A. definitely knows how to have fun and mix it up. Download the mix here.
I am a huge fan of Dizzee Rascal - his sound is so refreshing and unique. Not like the over-produced rap we hear so much of today. Dizzee keeps it pretty mellow, you won’t see him in every magazine but you will see him in the lastest Sneaker Freaker. You can read the full interview on line here. If you’ve never heard of Dizzee, here’s a lil’ something for ya. . .
No, I’m not talking about stocks I’m talking about kicks!! Maybe you’ve been collecting for years, maybe you want to start getting into it now, maybe you want to sell everything off. No matter what your scenario, the Sneaker Freaker Collectors Price Guide is sure to help. Sneaker Freaker asked Dave Skop of Rare Air Shoes to put together this price guide and they also talked to him about his method. You can see the guide and read the interview here.
I always like taking some time at the end of the year to reflect on stuff and hell, why not sneakers! Lucky for us, Sneaker Freaker Magazine’s Best of the Best 2007 Feature just went live. Sneaker Freaker sat down with store owners, shoe collectors, artists, and designers to take a look at what people found inspiring, or amazing, or just had to have. See what ladies like Claw Money, Mafia from Sneaker Freaker, Erin from Made Me and Gabriella from Mama liked in the ‘07. Read the feature here.
I love this sneaker! The Nike Blazer has long been a favorite of mine and when it comes equipped with such smart design as this I’m completely sold! This is definitely one for the sneaker snobs because at first glance the textures and color combinations can easily draw a WTF, but with closer examination you can see these will be giving your neutral pairs of shoes a run for their money this Fall. The Aztecan-looking weaving is gorgeous; making the black accents look almost like lace overlay. The subtle hot pink accents on the tongue are perfect and brings femininity to the shoe, which I love. Ladies, this is a must-have. Don’t miss out!
DJ Mafia interviewed Miss Lawn of Hellz Bellz fame on the Sneaker Freaker website. Lanie is super-sweet and we’ve been big supporters of Hellz Bellz. Get a glimpse of what makes this lady tick and peep the interview here.
