With all the sneaker craziness it’s only natural to see ancillary products popping up to maintain your kicks. First came Jason Markk with his premium solution which worked really nicely (and we liked how it smelled too!). We just found out about the newest cleaning product on the market - TiShoe - pre-moistened wipes for kicks. Here’s what they have to say about their product:

A news story brought to us by the good people at Reuters is reporting that people who buy three pairs of sneakers a year are far more likely to be leaders than others. Mindset Media, a media company that examines personality traits of different consumers, found that in interviewing 7,500 people, using market research group Nielsen’s online panel, multi-sneaker buyers, (or sneakerheads as they’re commonly called) are 50 percent more likely to be very assertive and 47 percent more likely to be spontaneous. Now, I’m not going to tell you how many pairs of sneakers I have in total, or buy in a calendar year, but it’s a lot more than three. I will definitely be showing this article to my mother, and letting her know the scientists say my habit is fierce, and to keep on leading, parachuting out of airplanes, and breaking into spontaneous interpretive dance as I have been known to do. It will get me somewhere, and as an added plus, I look great! Ladies, if you’ve got a monkey on your back hooting and hollering about your ever-growiing collection, as long as you’re not maxing out your credit cards, and taking out subprime loans to support your habit, I suggest you do the same.

Ahhh, yes, spring is in, which means its time to switch from your rain coats to bright colors and lots of stripes! Most of the big sneaker brands have followed Nike’s lead as far as releasing holiday themed kicks is concerned. Puma is getting in on the action and has released two Valentine’s Day themed sneakers for the ladies, the full-grain leather and suede motorsport inspired Espera, and the suede upper court heritage Flipper. Both sneakers retail for $65, and are available right now at Puma.com.
Reebok has also released two hearty heart day sneakers this year. A classic Freestyle, and the first release of the women’s Pro Legacy Low, available now at Major DC.
High Snobiety reports that Reebok has released an international-only Valentine’s Day Freestyle, that is available at Caliroots. This shoe might be an international-only release now, but it certainly was not LAST YEAR when it dropped here in the US. Yeah, I caught them. On sale for $29.99. At V.I.M. I have eyes everywhere. Oops.
